Taking family trips to festivals was my all time favorite thing to do after a saturday morning of doing chores and helping my mother pack a picnic basket. As an adult I still follow festivals close to me like Allendale County Cooter Fest in Allendale, SC and The Watermelon Festival in Hampton, SC. Mainly to partake of the food and to compare dishes with family and friends. Hope you Twitter us when you get there!
